Sunshine skiing on the glacier

Firn Fun in Sölden

When the days get longer and the temperatures milder, it’s the perfect glacier time for leisurely skiers and sun worshipers. For passionate corn snow lovers who just can't get enough of skiing fun.

Sunshine, goggle tans & bluebird days

Skiing fun until May

In spring, the skis and snowboards are far from being put in the basement in Sölden. Thanks to the high Alpine altitude of the glacier ski area, winter sports will continue here until early May. Offering prime slope and snow conditions. Special note for firn and corn snow fans: the glacier slopes facing to the east and west make it possible to glide down on superb corn snow slopes both in the morning and in the afternoon. Freeride aficionados will find the last powder pockets of the season on the shady northern slopes.

While scenic Rettenbach Glacier boasts intermediate and difficult slopes, including the legendary World Cup ski race track, there are easier slopes at Tiefenbach Glacier. Both parts of the glacier ski area are linked to each other via a comfy ski tunnel and connecting ski lifts. 8 mountain lifts are available on the glacier.
