This requires training andexperience. More than 10 years ago, I founded the first LVS Training and Test Center in Lenggries am Brauneck, Germany. The aim was to support alpine safety and offer the participants the opportunity to test the rescue equipment which is available on the market.
The theory is teached in the morning and in the afternoon the participants practice under the supervision and guidance of a UIAA certified mountain guide. The best equipment is the one you can use to find a victim quickly.
It is not the goal to sell equipment, but to provide a platform for the participant to find the ideal equipment and purchase it at a sport shop. In addition, there is the possibility of testing the devices that are already purchased.
