Arriving in Sölden by car already in the early morning to be there in time for the start of the ultimate Ötztaler? At the mountain gondola stations and the post office in the village center you will find enough parking areas (free of charge during the day – important note: no overnight parking!). But if you want to leave the village during the road closing times before the end of the marathon in the finish area and surroundings, which is located at the Freizeit Arena, is recommended to park the car at the base station of Giggijoch mountain gondola. This signposted parking area is located at the northern entrance to the village and therefore not affected by closed roads in the afternoon.
