With its alpine ambience and its altitude of 1,600 m, the Gries high-altitude trail is a true cross-country attraction, especially for advanced runners. The trail leads from the parking lot at the end of Gries further into the valley into the Sulztal. Most of the time the round runs along the Fischbach. The highest point of the trail is reached at the Vogelasbrücke. After crossing the river, the track on the left side of the stream is always slightly downhill. Only after crossing again do you have to master the last meters of altitude around the river before you reach the starting point again
Author’s recommendation
After beeing active with cross-country skiing, spend a few hours in the Aqua Dome thermal spa and relax.
