The starting point of this demanding mountain bike tour is in the center of Umhausen. From there follow the signs for the Ötztal cycle Trail(No. 11) into the valley until you reach the Ötztaler Ache. There you turn right and follow the signs towards Frischmannhütte. In numerous serpetines, a wide gravel path runs up the western slope of the Ötztal. Passing the front Fundusalm (not serviced) you drive, accompanied by the babbling of the Fundusbach, on to the serviced Hinteren Fundusalm. The last climb leads over a wide gravel path to the Frischmannhütte. Once at the top, you can enjoy the wonderful panorama with a delicious Tyrolean bread snack. Back to Umhausen you follow the same route back.
