Large triple bay chapel in Baroque style, built in 1797. Among the chapel's highlights: secluded choir area, semicircular choir stall, curved gable facades, steep saddleback roof, onion-shaped timber spire and wonderful moulds, clearly sectionalized interior. Splendid Rococo decorations such as fresco paintings by Gabriel Theunig, a high altar with countless figures (Longinus, Florian, Katherina, Barbara), precious Stations of the Cross paintings. A well-loved place for weddings amid picture-book landscapes!

Located above the legendary Engelswand rock face, Farst is one of Ötztal's oldest settlements.If you dare ascending on the serpentines that have been cut into the steep rock (60-minute walk), you are rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view and hearty hospitality at the year-round serviced mountain inn. From Tumpen you walk about 15 minutes to the small wooden platform at the waterfall. From there you have a beautiful view of Tumpen. Hikers can also continue into the summer months to the Armelen Hut or to the Vordere Tumpenalm.
