Like Vent itself, the farms form part of the municipality of Sölden in the Ötztal.The Rofenhöfe are the highest, year-round farmsteads in Austria (2014 m). The Gasthof Rofenhof is open (highseason, restday in summer on monday, restday in winter on sunday).

On the wide open plain between Vent and the historic Rofenhöfe Farms, deeply symbolic sculptures that enter into dialogue with attentive hikers are catching the eye. The artworks made of stone were created between 2007 and 2013 as part of the ARTeVENT international sculpture symposium. With the help of an audio guide that can be accessed with your own smartphone, this unique Art Trail becomes a lively narrated symbiosis between art, nature and people.

The high altar probably comes from a former church in Karthaus in Schnalstal valley (statues, St. Bruno, St. Benedict).
