The hut is located at an altitude of 1575 m in a particularly quiet location. The Wurzbergalm has been in family ownership since its construction in 1959 - the friendly, family-like flair can be felt immediately when you stop by.
Passionate hikers of all ages immediately feel like home. Allow yourself to be pampered on the Wurzbergalm in accordance with all the rules of genuine Tyrolean hospitality, with the diverse products from their own farm or from our beautiful region.

Hiking route summer:


Unterried-Winklen: along forest road, then left on the footpath or via Ziegen-Peter path to the hut, time: 1.5 h
Köfels: along untrafficked forest road, past the meadows of Köfels (quite steep after the gate), time: 50 min
