The Brandalm is located at an altitude of 1385m!  Children have a blast at quaint Brandalm mountain hut: there is a small zoo with pot-bellied pigs, goats and rabbits. After a snack at the Brandalm where you have a wonderful view over Längenfeld we reccommend a hiking tour to the suspension bridge. (Another 45 min) Start: Längenfeld/Fischbach Brücke, Walking time: 45 min The Brandalm is one of the fine culinary spots ("Genussplatzlen"). The Sulztalalm is located at an altitude of 1,915 m. From the parking area in Gries the path leads through meadows to the "Vögelasbrücke" at first. Continue the path to Sulztalalm at a slight hikingtrail trough the forest. (Approx. 1,5 h walking time) After a refreshment with good homemade meals you can continue the hike to Ambergerhütte. (1 h walking time)

The Wiesle (1,528 m) was already mentioned 450 years ago as the Schweighof. While the small patch of meadow was primarily used for agriculture for centuries, the Wiesle is now particularly popular with those looking for relaxation and day trippers. You can reach the hut via the prepared winter hiking trail from Niederthai (cross-country skiing centre). Warm meals, snacks, mostly own products or from local farmers. Hut evenings, small celebrations or simply a nice get-together in the evening can also be requested. The Wiesle is one of the fine culinary spots ("Genussplatzlen"). The Hausersee hut on the "Geigenkamm", named after his highest sumit, the "Hohe Geige" (3395 m), in the Ötztal Alps. The lake which is hardly warmer than 4 degrees in summer, lends his name to the house. The hut is a self-catering hut and is sheltered in summer by a "hutkeeper". The Polles valley is the longest side valley of the Ötztal. The Polles Alm is located at an altitude of 1.782m and is easily accessible in approx. 2 hours starting at the football ground in Huben. The first path leads through the „Ötztaler Sagenweg“ to the Feuerstein hut and further on an old very beautiful hiking trail up to the Polles hut. Ideal for a family hike or for a mountain bike tour. On Saturday and Sunday, the innkeepers offer an alpine breakfast by prior arrangement. From Monday to Friday (Wednesday closed) the alpine breakfast can be booked in advance for 6 or more people.

The route leads from Mühle in Huben to the Polltal and Breitlehnalm pastures. Hikers will soon be able to switch to the footpath, which has a steep incline, but will shorten the many hairpin bends. What is striking is the fern-rich larch and stone pine forest which you walk through almost to the very top. Once at the hut, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the valley and the Ötztal mountains. Relaxed and strengthened, it's back down to the valley. To do this, either choose the route or hike further to the Breitlehnalm and from there take the mountain climb (a little steeper) back to Huben. Walking time: 2 hours
