The Hausersee hut on the "Geigenkamm", named after his highest sumit, the "Hohe Geige" (3395 m), in the Ötztal Alps. Hiking to Feuerstein from Huben sports field - Trail of Ötztal Legendstime: approx. 1 h / walking timemountain bikers and E-bikers reach the hut on a separate forest trail.Alpengasthof am Feuerstein is a superb walking destination but also a nice spot for weddings, baptisms and all kind of celebrations.
The trout pond is located in the district of Gottsgut between Längenfeld and Huben! Trout can be caught here. The fish can be grilled and eaten locally or taken home.

The Polles valley is the longest side valley of the Ötztal.The Polles Alm is located at an altitude of 1.782m and is easily accessible in approx. 2 hours starting at the football ground in Huben. The first path leads through the „Ötztaler Sagenweg“ to the Feuerstein hut and further on an old very beautiful hiking trail up to the Polles hut.Ideal for a family hike or for a mountain bike tour.On Saturday and Sunday, the innkeepers offer an alpine breakfast by prior arrangement. From Monday to Friday (Wednesday closed) the alpine breakfast can be booked in advance for 6 or more people.The Polles Alm is one of the fine culinary spots ("Genussplatzlen"). "Regional, seasonal, honest cuisine - whatever is available is enough!" - is the motto. The "Genussplatzlen" include commited businesses that act regionally and sustainably whenever possible.
