If children bring along a bit of stamina in addition to the joy of hiking, many beautiful tour destinations await you around Vent. Here are the best tips for little adventurers with great zeal.
Family hike to Stableinalm (450 altitude meters): A broad, steadily ascending but not very steep trail leads in five bends to the serviced Stableinalm at 2365 m. Attractions include a sunny terrace with superb views of Rofental and hearty Tirolean cuisine. Walking time, both ways: approx. 3 h
Hike to Ramolalm, not serviced (200 altitude meters): In about one walking hour you reach this beautiful vantage point above the village of Vent by hiking through the stone pine forest. Dilapidated Ramolalm at 2215 m was formerly used as a mountain pasture hut and is abandoned to decay. Grazing sheep and cows complete the wonderful idyll.
Feldkögele loop hiking tour (200 altitude meters): From the village center the moderately climbing and later descending trail leads partly through the larch forest to Feldkögele (2018 m). Return to Vent through the forest to the federal road. Total walking time: approx. 2 h. The child-friendly treasure hunt also runs along this route - treasure maps available from Information Vent.
Tip for very ambitious families: Stableinalm and Feldkögele are stamp points for the coveted hiking badge, a nice souvenir of your hiking holiday in Vent.
